The High Plains
For all cyclists – both fast and slow – who love unpaved challenges and having good times.
Note: No sign-ups on the day of event!
For All Cycling Aficionados & Pedaling Newbies Alike
On the northeast side of the Palmer Divide the elevation is right around 7000′ where you can test your bike skills over “Colorado Cobbles”, race up and down long rollers, and maybe redline your engine cranking up a few short steep climbs. Or simply enjoy a day of the challenging roads of Elbert County featuring a variety of great terrain. Pedal along stretches of the panoramic views of Pikes Peak, alongside beautiful local ranches and ponderosa pine next to rock outcrops.
A Few Challenging Gravel Routes
This Bicycle Event Is To Raise Funds For Elbert Parks & Recreation Youth Sports!
A Long Route
Hammer It Or Just Have Fun
Ride you own pace and have a great time. But since there’s not a lot of vertical and some super fast stretches we also expect a race to break out! Under 3.5 hours is very possible, and if enough strong riders hang together we might see a bunch finish in the end? However you ride, we expect it’ll be a fun day for everyone.
A Short Route
The perfect short loop
This option is for folks who might not have the time or the fitness for a long day but still want to ride to support a good cause. You can ride hard and fast or at a conversation pace with your friends. There are some short climbs but nothing too challenging as long as you pace yourself. Ride to the finish line and you win either way. It’s all about having a good time.
